Our National Festival
REPUBLIC DAY 26 JANUARY
Republic day is the day when Indian Constitution came on force in 1950.
Which is called as real freedom. This is day when Indians got their Fundamental Rights &
Fundamental duties towards nation as well as society. This day we remember our freedom fighters who sacrifice their life during the freedom struggle. More than 300 years after India was republic because they were ruled by Britishers. The day is memorable also because our scholars took responsibility and prepare an "The unique constitution" for the people of India. The constitutional drafting committee was leaded by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.
The day is a national festival of our country. And we pay tribute to our freedom fighters. On the India gate where flames are burning day and night to give tribute to our freedom fighters. India gate monument and place where names of those freedom fighters who were participated in directly or indirectly to fight against the Britishers name were written on India gate.
The main programme is organised in national capital New Delhi. On this national festival different
cultural programme is organised on the Rajpath. Rajpath is situated on the India Gate. Flying past by the indian air force is the main attractions of the gathering of Rajpath.
Many dances and cultural diversity of India is showcased on the parade. 21 Guns are fired to salute the tricolor. Indian armed forces showcase the military capabilities and school children show
different dance forms. A chief guest is invited from the friends country on this special occasion.
This is a day we should celebrate with happiness and also remember to the freedom fighters and proud to be an Indian.
